Action is the rehash of everything.

RPG is simply a get mission, do that. Repeat.

Shooting games are about as true to real gun fights as Bioshock was true to System Shock/

Character depth is about as deep as a paddling pool.

Innovation is turning the same idea on its head and rebranding.

Sports Games are last year's game with better graphics

MMORPG are a grind (sans one or two)

Everything is too short. Just like the attention spans of the Youtube Generation

Everyone is forgetting about the days when graphics did not matter, but
rather, trying to build an intricate plot whilst balancing gameplay to create a miniature universe you can lose yourself in ('I have no Mouth, I must Scream', 'Psychonauts', 'Monkey Island', 'Homeworld', 'System Shock')

This post reads like a 40 year old man with a chip on his shoulder.

The reason I haven't been active on this site is because I've been working. Working and reading. Slashdot will do as good to the mind as would a great sci-fi novel.




And last of all.
I miss talking to dA people. No.
I miss talking to dA friends. The ones I talked to every day. God I miss them so much.

Currently my game count has gone past 160, I've still got more to put on there, and there are some that are missing and box art is not there. Maybe I'll start writing reviews...

New internet (8mbps) should be coming in a few days.

College is going great, almost finished everything at M/D's

Driving lessons are going great too. Just need to pass my theory and I'll get ready for my actual test.

Got perma' banned from dA again for being mean to someone.

Eh. Rules seem to apply differently varying on the admin.

Besides, the site wasn't doing me any good with all the self-censorship I thought I had to do to myself to not get banned again (as part of a somewhat permanent probation), so in the end I just stopped caring and started becoming less active in the forums.
I don't care about that site any more. There is nothing there for me any more. Community wise and art wise.
I'll just start being active here instead.

Well, that's about 5 or 6 months of spare time down the drain.
